This makes it so only you can shift, using the paddles or the knob, and it makes the shifts much faster. It's a little button behind the shifting knob that is easy to miss. Complain all you want about not having a Manual transmission but the auto in manual mode is GREAT, almost on par with BMWs dual clutch M3.
