Happy New Year’s Eve!!!
I just wanted to send out a warm and kind Happy New Year’s Eve, and Happy New Year to you all! I know you’ll all be in or out, hopefully doing something fun… But, whatever you do, be safe, stay warm -for those of us who are in the colder states, and don’t drink and drive. I can’t express that last one enough. This is the Holiday’s. Cops will be everywhere. I watched 6 people get pulled over today at the same time, on the same road, right in front of me on the highway… It was the single greatest pleasure of watching justice be served to all of the hot shots who drive their cars way too fast. I had a guy fly by me in the middle lane, while I was doing a 70 in a 65. I wasn’t in his way or anything, but he wanted to go faster… He looked like one of those morons with his seat all the way back, one hand on the top of the wheel, and hunched to one side. He was a wannabe white rapper. I laughed when I saw him get pulled over.

Detroit 3: What To Do… Part 3
Well, as usual I’m late to the party… But, I’m one of the few with the best advice and opinion. Yes, I am trying to be funny.
President Bush, after a good while of thinking, decided that it was right to give the Detroit 2 money to sustain themselves. I say Detroit 2 because Ford was never lobbying for aid. They were simply there representing the needs of Chrysler and General Motors. Let’s face it, if they go under, Ford has to pick up all of that slack, along with Toyota, Nissan, Honda, Acura, Lexus, BMW, Infiniti, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Hyundai, Kia, and the likes. So, if the big guys in Detroit don’t get money, that means that the others who are picking up for their lost sales will need extra aid to keep running. Sure, they can support growth of certain car models for a little while, but that means that they have to be pumping out more than what they’re used to in cash flow, too.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
I would just like to extend my love and prayers to everyone for a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. It’s no matter what religion you are, what sort of Christmas you celebrate, or what you celebrate on this day. All that matters most is the giving and recieving of cheer and love on this great day.
Even if you didn’t get all that you wanted, or if you got nothing at all. It’s no matter. You are alive to wake up this day and are able to try and spread a little happyness to someone else.
I know this is probably kind of late, but don’t drink and drive. I hope you didn’t last night, either…

Senate Throws Out Auto Bailout/Loan Plan
In a Republican filibuster on December 11th, the auto loan plan was voted against, mainly by Republicans who wanted a new plan with new rules. So, now we go back to the drawing board… President Bush is working to use TARP resources.
If you remember correctly, TARP is the Troubled Assets Relief Program that is also called the $700 billion bailout plan. Numerous Democrats along with many Republicans want the President to tap into the TARP funds and leave the $25 billion that was already promised to the big 3 alone.
This presents an interesting situation for the big 2 of GM and Chrysler currently. The biggest problem they now face is that Congress won’t meet again until after the first of the year. So, they have to make it in other ways. The President is thinking of letting them tap into the $700 billion for relief until the next meeting on how to help the automakers. GM and Chrysler are obviously alright with this.
